How Ben & Buds Got Its Start

In 2012, Ben and some of his Decatur High lacrosse teammates started a landscaping company as a way to earn extra money. It started with raking leaves, but they quickly figured out a way to remove ivy by the roots without using chemicals. The team began offering complete ivy removal throughout Decatur, GA, transforming one yard at a time.

After the ivy boys graduated high school, they continued caring for lawns while on break from college. In the summer of 2015, Ben decided to take it up a notch and created the official Ben & Buds Landscaping LLC business. Ben would wrangle other college students that were home on break and they would eradicate yards of ivy, privet and other invasive weeds.
